Pharma Greed Kills Rally
The day after the Summit (March 3, 2019), SNaHP members joined forces with the Campaign for New York Health, ACT UP New York, Rise and Resist, HEAL NY, Healthcare Equity Action League of New York, and the NY Metro chapter of PNHP to demand an end to pharmaceutical price gouging.
Our rally began at Pfizer’s headquarters and ended at the New York Public Library. SNaHP board member Robertha Barnes co-moderated the rally and SNaHP board member Augie Lindmark spoke (45:00), as did SNaHP member Thomas Jackson (1:32:15) and PNHP board adviser Dr. Roona Ray (1:41:05). This action was streamed to Facebook Live.
