PNHP Board Adviser Dr. Paul Song appeared on the “Nuances” podcast on February 18, 2024. Dr. Song discussed how U.S. health care is set up to benefit big insurance corporations, and why single-payer Medicare for All would provide much better experiences for both patients and physicians.
“People are led to believe we have the best health care system—full of freedom and individual rights—of any place in the world,” said Dr. Song. “The reality is, if you get sick, you soon realize you don’t have freedom.”
