PNHP President Dr. Susan Rogers and PNHP-CA President Dr. Paul Song appeared on KABC News (Los Angeles) on January 17, 2022. They discussed the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the ongoing fight for racial justice across U.S. society, including in health care.
“Dr. King’s words have always resonated with me,” said Dr. Song. “I think he really goes back to the book of Matthew about caring for the least among us. That we’re not defined by how many billionaires we create in society, but really about how we care for the most marginalized, our poor brothers and sisters. Really, those that don’t have a voice in our society.”
