If this Trump-era pilot pilot program goes through, “beneficiaries in the Traditional Medicare program, who deliberately decided not to enroll with an insurance company will now be, without their knowledge and possibly against their will, assigned to a Direct Contracting Entity, which is going to operate very much like an HMO.”
