āRise and Fallā is written specifically for American citizens and discusses four of the most pressing problems with U.S. healthcare today: healthcare insurance, the disappearing primary care physician, pharmaceutical industry infiltration into the practice and science of medicine, and medical malpractice litigation. Dilemmas along with solutions with the pros and cons for each are reviewed through the eyes of an independent thinking, office/hospital, board-certified internist/geriatrician with hands-on experience and without a personal agenda.
