Kalpana Krishnamurthy is National Field and Policy Director at Forward Together, Portland. In addition to national policy work, she directs the organizationās state-based organizing and civic engagement program. She previously directed the racial justice and gender justice programs at Western States Center. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Philanthropic Initiative for Racial Equity.
Harald Schmidt, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of Medical Ethics & Health Policy; Research Associate, Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics; and Senior Fellow, Leonard Davis Institute at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. His research interest is improving opportunity and reducing disadvantage for marginalized populations in healthcare.
