Dr. James Mitchiner is an attending emergency physician at Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, Michigan, in addition to a clinical appointment at the University of Michigan Medical School.
A past president of the Michigan College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Mitchiner has served as chair of the American College of Emergency Physiciansā State Legislative and Regulatory Committee and as a member of the Task Force on Health Care and the Uninsured. In 2008, he served as president of the Washtenaw County Medical Society, and from 2010-2019 he was on the Board of Directors of the Michigan State Medical Society.
Dr. Mitchiner earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and masterās degree in health management and policy from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
