PNHP president Dr. Susan Rogers led a delegation of physician leaders to Washington, D.C. on November 30, 2021, where they demanded an immediate end to the stealth privatization of Medicare through the Trump-era Direct Contracting program.
Dr. Rogers was joined by PNHP past president Dr. Ana Malinow; national board members Drs. Judith Albert and Ed Weisbart; PNHP of Western PA leader Dr. Claire Cohen; and Students for a National Health Program (SNaHP) leader Edward Si. They spoke about the dangers of DCEs and highlighted a petition with more than 13,000 signatures collected by PNHP and Public Citizen.
