March and Rally: Single Payer is for Every Body (Nov. 1)
Leadership Training participants marched from the Sonesta Hotel to nearby Thomas Paine Plaza where we demanded an inclusive and equitable single-payer health system that guarantees comprehensive coverage for ALL people living in the United States.
PNHP members rallied with several allied organizations, including Public Citizen, National Nurses United, Health Care for All PA, and Philly DSA.
Our members created signs earlier in the day, prior to the march. Click here for advice on how to make your own protest sign and email organizer@pnhp.org for advice on how to organize a single-payer rally in your community.

Message from Ady Barkan
Prominent single-payer activist Ady Barkan, whose courageous Congressional testimony galvanized Americans in the spring of 2019, and whose memoir, “Eyes to the Wind,” is a must-read for health justice advocates, recorded a welcome message for PNHP’s Annual Meeting. In his message, Ady marveled at the progress that has been made in the fight for single payer, and urged members to renew their commitment to what is now a winnable fight.
